This village is located on the limestone plateau at the edge of the Quercy Blanc. The history of the village is ancient. It was named Pemdas during the Gallic era; the origins of the village go back a long way in time and Gallo-Roman remains were found. The local heritage is linked with two classified monuments: the Trébaïx Tower and the Saint-Michel de Villesèque church with its gorgeous wooden altarpiece; but also the many houses built with ancient architecture that pleasure the gaze.
