On the Thèze valley, Saint-Martin-le-Redon, nearby the castle of Bonaguil, is a fine example of medieval military architecture. The Gallo-Roman era is full of history as evidenced by the Roman road that runs through the village. Remains of this period : the Romanesque church, whose tower was raised at a later period, the towers of the Guiral castle in Cazes-Marnhac, the Gothic tower of Mescalpres in the woods and the old parts (17th and 18th C.) of certain houses of the village.
