One of the best way to discover the Lot Valley and its vineyard… is on foot!

Activities Rachel By Rachel, the 18 May 2018

Come and discover the Lot Valley and its Vineyard criss-crossing the many hiking trails...

Our destination, where hills, valleys, streams, rivers, limestone plateaus and picturesque villages mix, offers many itinerary possibilities.

After two years of work (on site reconnaissance, verification and route marking and creation of the guidebook), the new guidebook "walks and hikes in the Lot Valley and its Vineyard" is finally available for 8€ in the Tourist Information Offices of our Tourist Office (hikes guidebook, plastic sleeve and neck strap).

This guidebook, available in French and English, lists 19 hiking trails, in the form of cards, from 5 to 15 km, crossing the entire territory. They are accessible to everyone, and sorted by difficulty level, from easy, to moderately difficult and difficult.

We want to make it more convenient for you!

When you go for a hike, pick one of the 19 cards, put it in the plastic sleeve hung to the neck strap. This way you will not have to bring the complete guidebook with you and thanks to the plastic sleeve, your cards will not get wet if it rains.

The guidebook would not have been possible without our partners and service providers. We would like to warmly thank:

  •     The "Commuauté de Communes" for the marking and the maintenance of the routes,
  •     Daniel Lafon, for his involvement and infallible knowledge of the site,
  •     The hiking clubs for their valuable help,
  •     Lot Insertion Service for the marking and the maintenance of the routes,
  •    Jérôme Solei, graphic designer, for his professionalism and great patience ;)
  •     The Boissor printing company for the final result of the guide.
